Terms of Service

1. The service

Retena provides tools to capture selected WhatsApp groups and authorized private chats, transcribe voice notes, search conversation history, create summaries, translate content, and organize workspace activity.

Retena is a productivity and memory tool. It does not provide legal, tax, medical, financial, employment, or safety advice.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to use Retena on behalf of your organization or workspace. You are responsible for your account, invited users, connected devices, and workspace settings.

• Keep credentials and recovery methods secure.
• Notify Retena if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Use accurate billing and contact information.
• Remove team members who should no longer have access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Retena to break the law, violate other people's rights, capture communications without proper notice or consent where required, access another workspace, bypass limits, send harmful content, or interfere with the service.

You are responsible for informing participants and using Retena according to your legal obligations, workplace policies, and messaging-platform rules.

4. Plans and billing

Retena may offer trial, monthly, annual, usage-based, add-on, and custom plans. Current self-serve monthly plans shown on the public site are Starter at $39, Team at $89, Business at $249, and Scale at $499.

• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
• Usage limits are shared across the workspace unless stated otherwise.
• Taxes, payment processing, invoices, and refunds may depend on customer location and plan terms.
• Retena may change prices or plan limits with notice where required.

5. AI-assisted output

Transcripts, summaries, translations, search answers, labels, recommendations, and quality signals are generated or assisted by automated systems. They may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.

You are responsible for reviewing important outputs before relying on them. Retena does not guarantee that automated outputs will be error-free or suitable for every use case.

6. Availability and changes

Retena aims to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, suspend, limit, or modify features to maintain security, improve the product, comply with law, or protect users.

7. Customer data

You retain ownership of your customer data. Retena processes customer data to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service as described in the Privacy Policy and customer settings.

You are responsible for the content you connect, import, upload, or share through Retena.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Retena is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Retena will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or decisions made from unreviewed automated output.
